Hi players and families,

This event is for players who have already registered for the 2026/27 season, as well as returning players who have not yet completed their registration.

If your child would like to be considered for an U12A or U14A team, please select one free ticket for the grading session they will attend. This will help us know who is attending each session and plan accordingly.

QUICK SUMMARY

• Grading is only for players wishing to be considered for U12A or U14A.

• Players intending to play U12B or U14B do not need to attend.

• Players only need to attend one session.

• Please select one free ticket for your chosen session.

  • 4:00 pm–5:30 pm
• Sunday 13 September
  • 2:00 pm–3:30 pm

Location: Highfields Sports Park cricket nets

Please bring:

• Full cricket kit

• Hat

• Sunscreen

• Water bottle

REGISTRATION AND SPORTS VOUCHERS

Players do not need to be registered before attending grading. However, if your child intends to play this season and you haven’t registered them yet, please complete their registration as soon as possible.

FULL AGE-GROUP DETAILS

Player age eligibility

• Players must be under the relevant age as at 31 August 2026.

• For example, a player who was already 10 years old on 31 August cannot play U10 and must play U12 unless an approved dispensation applies.

• Girls may play one age group below their eligible age group.

• Additional dispensations may apply for representative cricket experience, disability or other approved circumstances.

U12B

• T20 format – 20 overs

• Seven players on the field, with a minimum of five

• 142 g leather ball

• 16 m pitch

• 40 m boundary

• All players bowl

• Non-competitive, with no finals

• Batters retire after their allocated number of balls

• Dismissals apply after a batter has faced 10 balls

U12A

• One-day format – 25 overs

• Nine players on the field, with a minimum of seven

• 142 g leather ball

• 18 m pitch

• 50 m boundary

• Competitive competition

• Finals are played

• Batters retire after 40 balls or upon reaching 60 runs

U14B

• One-day format – 25 overs

• Nine players on the field, with a minimum of seven

• 142 g leather ball

• 18 m pitch

• 50 m boundary

• Competitive competition

• No finals

• Batters retire after 40 balls or upon reaching 60 runs

U14A

• One-day format – 30 overs

• Eleven players on the field, with a minimum of seven

• 156 g leather ball

• Full-length turf wicket preferred

• 50 m boundary

• Competitive competition

• Finals are played

• Batters retire after 40 balls or upon reaching 60 runs
