Come along from 2pm- 2.45pm if your child it 10 or under, and from 2:45pm-3.30pm  for ages 11+. Bring your gear and we’ll get into some simple batting, bowling, and catching drills to see how everyone is going. The grading will be most applicable to new players who have come to Highfields, but anyone will be welcome.

We are looking for volunteers to help: Highfields & Districts Railway Cricket Club Come & Try Day Volunteer Roster Volunteer Roles: Setup Crew (8am - 10am) Set up tents, tables, chairs, and equipment. Arrange signage and promotional materials. Ensure the grounds are clean and ready for the event. Volunteers Needed: 4 Registration Desk (9:30am - 11:30am) Welcome participants and assist with sign-in. Provide information and distribute schedules. Volunteers Needed: 2 Activity Coordinators (10am - 2pm) Oversee various cricket activities and games. Ensure participants are engaged and having fun. Assist with any questions or guidance. Volunteers Needed: 6 (2 per hour shift) Food and Beverage Station (10am - 2pm) Serve refreshments and snacks to participants. Handle cash and manage stock. Volunteers Needed: 4 (2 per hour shift) First Aid Station (10am - 2pm) Provide basic first aid assistance if needed. Ensure safety protocols are followed. Volunteers Needed: 1 Cleanup Crew (2pm - 3pm) Take down tents, tables, chairs, and equipment. Ensure the grounds are left clean and tidy. An opportunity too good to be missed... We are excited to announce that Brisbane Heat player Xavier Bartlett, the ferocious fast bowler from the coast, will be joining us at our home-ground nets on Sunday the 19th of May from 10:30am.  Our day will consist of meet & greet, fun activities, signature opportunities and some net sessions in the afternoon coordinated by our Head Coach Tim Connolly.    It may be the off season but we know this will appeal to all the Cricket tragics eagerly awaiting any opportunity to roll the arm over and come face to face with one of the greats of the game.  This is the first of the many exciting events we will be bringing to you moving into the 2024/2025 season.  We'll have the BBQ warmed up so bring your family and friends for a great day out.  

YOU ARE INVITED… to our Annual Awards Evening for 2023/2024. Saturday, 20th April 2024 at 6pm for a 6:30pm start at the Royal Hotel, 189 Ruthven Street, Toowoomba. We would love to see as many players attend on the night and please bring your partner and family with you.
